Education for All Ages Education is Beth Emet's foremost commitment. Understanding that education is a life-long process, our programs begin at birth and continue through adulthood. We choose teachers for their ability to inspire a love of Judaism while imparting the skills necessary to become literate Jews. Opportunities for adult study in both Hebrew language and Judaica, and participation in significant life cycle events are an integral part of our Education program. As a member of the Union of Reform Judaism, we, along with hundreds of other Reform congregations, are deeply committed to the concept of Family Education. Each year we seek to urge more and more families to join together in study experiences as well as in the celebration of our many festivals. In our work with the Rabbis and the Cantor, we foresee a growing need to nurture the Jewish family and empower each member to become both teacher and learner.
