Retreat, 2000-2001

For the second year in a row, the 6th grade class held a retreat. This year the retreat was at Camp Henry Horner. [Click on any picture to see an enlargement.]


Here's everyone who was on the retreat: students, leaders and staff.


Students participated in study about how Judaism is concerned with the environment.


Shabbat ended with an outdoor Havdalah service.

On Sunday morning, the retreat ended on the High Adventure course...


Cooperate to place the planks so the entire group can get from Start to Finish.


OK, everybody, the object is to arrange yourselves on the log in order of your birthday. If anyone falls off, we'll start over. And by the way, no talking at all! So communicate some other way.


Step off the platform onto the wire cable. As you go along the route, you'll have to learn to share the ropes.


Swing from the log to the board, and don't touch the ground in the middle!
