Our school program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade aims to deepen the Jewish experience and knowledge of our students in order to strengthen faith in God, love of Torah and identification with the Jewish people. Most importantly, through experiential programming and classroom learning, we are seeking Jewish involvement in their families and synagogue within a caring community filled with meaningful relationships. One of the most exciting and meaningful parts of our B'nai Mitzvah celebrations is the Sixth Grade B'nai Mitzvah Family Shabbaton.Topics will include why we have B'nai Mitzvah, what the ceremony means, what one has to do to prepare for the ceremony, picking a B'nai Mitzvah project, and how to stay connected after the B'nai Mitzvah process has finished. If you have not already done so, now is the time to complete your forms and send them in.For more information, please contact Beth in the school office at 847-869-4230, ext. 308.

We've made the candlesticks...we've made the challah cover...we've made the wine glass. All that's left in our study of Shabbat is actually celebrating together! Join us for the culminating program in our family Shabbat unit. We will pray together and welcome Shabbat as a Beit Sefer kindergarten family. Cost is $12/family. Click here to RSVP.
