Marci Dickman Marci
Dickman joined Beth Emet in July, 2009 with more than 25 years of experience in
Jewish education. Marci serves as the Director of Lifelong Learning, acting as
the Principal of Beit Sefer and overseeing our Early Childhood, Youth and Adult
Education Programs. Marci also works with B'nai Mitzvah students on their Divrei
Torah. Marci holds masters degrees in Jewish Education from the Rhea Hirsch School of Education at the Hebrew Union College and in Special Education from the University of Southern California, and has completed doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University in School Administration and Mild and Moderate Handicaps. Marci has previously served as the Director of Education Services for the Board of Jewish Education and the Executive Director of the Council on Jewish Education Services in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to Beth Emet, she most recently held the position of Head of School for Solomon Schechter Day School of Metropolitan Chicago. She is a published author and member of the National Association of Temple Educators and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Marci lives in Deerfield, IL with her husband, Ralph Schwartz, and four children, Ari, Yael, Aviva, and Hillel. Send an email to Marci |
