Kol Emet Shabbat: A Special Shabbat to Honor Cantor Arik Luck

Friday, June 5 beginning at 5:45 p.m. Congregational Shabbat Dinner to follow services

Six years ago, we had "luck" when we found Arik as our next cantor. He has honored Beth Emet's musical traditions while sharing his own music with us. He has touched so many in the community, especially those families with young children and in the b'nai mitzvah program. Arik, Rachel, Yedidyah, Zohara, and Tallulah will surely be missed, but we are thrilled for them as they embark on new adventures at Temple Emanu-El in San Francisco.

At 5:45 p.m., we will begin with a festive Wine and Cheese reception, including "Whine and Cheesesticks" for our young fans! At 6:30 p.m., Kol Emet Kabbalat Shabbat services will include familiar tunes and a special appearance by our joint Beth Emet/Beth Hillel Congregation B'nai Emunah choir. Services will be followed by a congregational BBQ dinner where you will have the opportunity to schmooze and write special tributes to Cantor Luck.

Babysitting is available during the reception and Shabbat Services.
Reservations are encouraged; reserve your spot today by contacting the office.

Cost for dinner is $12 per adult & $6 per child under 13 by Wednesday, June 3; $15 per adult & $8 per child thereafter. This email address is being protected from spambots.
