The Weekday Minyan will meet one Sunday a month at 8:45 a.m. to daven the weekday Shacharit (morning) service. The minyan meets in the chapel next to the sanctuary, and offers a more intimate opportunity to pray with the Beth Emet community.
The Weekday Minyan service explores our ritual, liturgical, and musical traditions in a welcoming setting for people new to weekday prayer, while providing a deeper level of sophistication for people with more experience. Participants are encouraged to wear a Tallit and Tefilin if they so choose, and community members are available fifteen minutes before the service begins to assist newcomers to these rituals.
The Weekday Minyan is followed by a light breakfast of bagels and coffee. The summer schedule is somewhat erratic due to Cantor Luck’s time at OSRUI, but we will develop into a more consistent routine in the fall.
